DON'T SETTLE!.......

Hello guys,

Been a minute!

Hope the long weekend went well...

So I stumbled on something and just as I was pondering on it, God spoke to me on another dimension entirely and just maybe someone needs to hear this apart from me.

DON'T SETTLE!

@realtalkkim sent these directly to my heart. Ets quickly flip to Genesis 11:31 for a minute.. it says...

"Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went out together to go from Ur of the Chaldeans into the land of Canaan; but when they came to Haran [about five hundred and fifty miles northwest of Ur], they settled there. Terah lived two hundred and five years; and Terah died in Haran"

They were going from Ur to Canaan, but when they got to Haran.....they settled!..and Terah died there.

Are you on your way to your Canaan? But you've suddenly decided to "rest" at Haran? Sometimes we achieve something and we feel we have arrived. But there is more. There are more goals to be made, more heights to be conquered, more dreams to be lived out and most importantly a purpose to be fulfilled!

I imagine when Mordecai told Esther about saving the Jews, and maybe Esther responded and said "Please Mordecai, I am the new queen, and I have arrived. Even if the people perish, nothing can happen to me" But then Mordecai's words came - "Just what if you are here for such a time as this?" Esther's purpose was not complete without her saving the people from disaster that was looming.

Are you in "Haran" today? Or maybe you are like Orpah and you want to return back to where you came from. Ruth on the other hand found purpose in her "Canaan".

I encourage you today, do not settle for where you were meant to walk through. Work harder, Pray harder, the journey may be tough but Canaan is a land of purpose. The promised land. A land flowing with milk and honey. You can not afford to settle in a place where you were merely meant to journey through.

Have a beautiful week ahead guys.

Peace, Love and cupcakes..
